My name is Nicole and I'm inspired by many things and by many people. I love DIY projects - if I can do it myself - I will. I also love any reason to celebrate and spend time with loved ones. My husband and I are quickly approaching 3 years of marriage and we're living in Georgia where we were both born and raised.
I have a degree in International Affairs, but often question why I didn't go to school to be a teacher or go to an art school. At 25, I'm still completely confused about where my career is going. My husband and I lived in the Middle East for a few months last year. I blogged all about it on my personal blog.

Favorite singer: *Beyonce* - but Isaac Slade from The Fray and Dustin Kensrue from Thrice are runners up.
TV guilty pleasure: The Bachelor and MTV Challenges - my husband secretly loves that I "force" him to watch The Bachelor with me. I have an atheletic side and would love to do all the obstacle courses and competitions they do on MTV.
Favorite hobby: Belly dancing - when I was living in Atlanta, I went to Atlanta Belly Dance and miss it so much now that I'm living in the burbs. I highly recommend them if you live in Atlanta. Oh - and it'll get your abs ripped.
Favorite Bible Verse: For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins. Matthew 6:14-15. After being hurt deeply several times over the last couple years, this verse has helped me forgive and move on.
Favorite genre: Zombie/apocalyptic shows and movies - I mean LOVE!!!

Pet peeve: Facebook - I expect the people who truly love me to call me up and hang out so I deleted my account.
Favorite food: Sandwiches, soups, anything from the bakery/deli! Mmmm!
Next place I want to travel: It's a tie between Nicaragua (where my husband's family is from) and NYC. I've never been to either destination.
